Job Description

This is an international, fully-remote, freelance contractor position, working from home, at a location outside of the United States. We are particularly seeking candidates who are based in Europe (e.g. Croatia, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, etc.) or in African-safari countries (e.g. South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, or Botswana).

Generally, there is flexibility in your work hours, although we expect that your work hours can overlap with California mornings until 12 noon Pacific Time (9 pm Central European Time). The work will all be conducted in English.

We are looking for a Partnerships Manager who embodies an entrepreneurial spirit and has a passion for international travel.

This role will be responsible for coaching our travel company partners (specifically travel specialists/tour companies located around the world) to achieve higher levels of sales conversion and efficiency, resulting in higher revenue for the company overall. The role involves a) analyzing sales performance, b) one-on-one coaching of our partners on best practices for higher sales performance, and c) helping to develop and evolve sales best practices, using Zicasso’s data-driven methodologies.

Our network of travel specialist partners is comprised of the world’s best boutique tour companies, each one carefully pre-qualified by us. This role is key to driving the mutual growth of our shared sales.

Please note: We are seeking highly-motivated candidates. Zicasso’s culture rewards team members who contribute to an ever-evolving growth environment and celebrates creativity, initiative, and out-of-the-box thinking.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop processes for scaling partner training through e-learning combined with personal coaching. E-learning curriculum might include consultative selling, up-selling techniques, best practices, Zicasso’s software features, etc.
  • Help Zicasso build genuine, lasting relationships with our global network of travel specialist partners
  • Work with our partners to ensure they deliver the best customer experience, sales performance, and adherence to Zicasso best practices
  • Proactively look for improvement opportunities and drive change to make these improvements happen on a scalable level
  • Intervene as necessary to resolve customer-related issues with travel specialist partners

Candidates who are seeking a standard fixed work day should not apply. Zicasso is a fast-paced, startup environment where each of us is expected to proactively seek out ways to improve our product and services. We partner with travel companies all over the world, so video meetings may have to be conducted outside of regular work hours to account for time zone differences.
